CUT & FOLD ADDITIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
To create this style of fold - Double Depth
With a regular fold you would Fold back alternate tabs
that you made with your cuts
With this style of fold you Fold back every tab but at
different depths alternately, see images below
The pencil markings are shown as a guide
The depth of cuts are a guide but you can choose your own
depths depending on the effect you would like to achieve
The solid red horizontal lines are your cut marks
The dotted lines are going to be your fold guide
Fold first and every other tab in at 2cm depth
Fold second and every other tab in at 3cm depth
COMBI CUT & FOLD
To create this style of fold- Combi
We use a mixture of Regular Fold and Cut & Fold Technique
The top and bottom measurements are FOLDED & NOT cut
All the other markings inbetween are cut & folded
INSET PAGES
Some Cut & Fold patterns require Inset pages, inset pages will be shown on the pattern
The inset pages occur every other page through out the book, this pads the book out giving it
more thickness.
The depth of the inset page is a personal choice depending on the finished effect you rquire,
the deeper the inset page the more pronouced the fold will be.
Inset pages are created by folding the verticle edge of the page in to a depth of 1cm or the
measurement of your choice
SHADOW CUT & FOLDS
These Shadow folds have a more subtle look to a Cut & Fold.
Every other page is cut & Folded
The pages inbetween are left with nothing done to them
